Hemisferium Lace Nautical Compass

The first written references about the use of the navigation needle by Mediterranean Navigant’s date to 12th century, however, it is possible they were used from earlier times.

This Nautical Compass has a sophisticated "lace" top and compass rose which 32 divisions correspond with each of the 32 radial lines also called rhumbs and it is surrounded with a beautiful brass external ring divided into 360 º.

The compass measures 63mm across and 28mm thick.

Material: Brass, beech and oak wood (naturally waxed and polished) with crystal glass over the magnetic compass.
